The Career Technical Education (CTE) Program recognized Ms. Catrona Hill-Charity for successfully achieving her CTE goals. The Challenge Recognition gift was presented to Ms. Hill-Charity by a CTE Academic Adviser in acknowledgment of her outstanding accomplishments in the Career Investigations program at Richmond Success Academy.

​Collaboration among teachers and the librarian at our school flourishes across all disciplines. For example, Helene Carrington, a History and Civics instructor, and Media Specialist Vonita Foster worked together on a literacy initiative aimed at enhancing teaching and learning in Ms. Carrington's classroom.

Collaborative Fridays is a socio-emotional learning initiative created by middle school teachers Ms. Helen Carrington, who teaches History and Civics, and Dr. Marla Crawford, who teaches Science. This program provides RSA middle school students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to understand and manage their emotions effectively.

Ms. Diane Callender, the school social worker, has launched the RAS Student Activities initiative. This program focuses on three core themes: Learning, Growing, and Thriving.

Her team of administrators, staff, and teachers has been working diligently to create a variety of educational and engaging programs for our students. These programs include "Shot Caller," "I Got the Music in Me," "Tik or Tok," "Shine Bright Like a Diamond," and "Written Word." Students at RAS have the opportunity to participate in these exciting learning activities
