Here are some photos from our recent Career Expo! Thank you to our sponsor, Reynolds Community College, for giving a wonderful presentation. More photos to come!

Dr. Marla Faith Crawford’s science students were afforded an opportunity to explore and investigate the quality of the James River watershed by way of Mrs. Sobon, RPS Science Specialist. The students investigated the water quality of the James River watershed with the support and guidance of The James River Association staff. Students were able to engage in measuring the temperature, pH turbidity and nitrate level of the James River water. In addition to investigating the physical qualities of the James River water, students investigated and identified the micro- and macro-organisms of the James River watershed. The students’ day closed out with a visit to the James River Association Visitation Center.
Miss Carrington, Civics Teacher, and Mr. Jones, School Social Worker, provided support and supervision with the students.

Spring Break for RPS is scheduled from March 30 to April 3, 2026.

A big shoutout to Mr. Jones' class for their dedication to learning!

In honor of Black History Month, our teachers, Ms. Bright and Ms.Carrington, worked together to put up a beautiful display in the hallway.

Ms. Carrington, thank you for supporting our students!
