Ms. Diane Callender, the School Social Worker, has launched RAS Students' Activities. This initiative focuses on three core themes: Learning, Growing, and Thriving. Her team of administrators, staff, and teachers has been working hard to create a variety of educational and engaging programs for our learners. These programs include Shot Caller, I Got the Music in Me, Tik or Tok, Shine Bright Like a Diamond, and Written Word.  Students at RSA will have the opportunity to participate in these exciting learning activities.  They are:

I Got the Music in Me

Acclaimed music artist Mervin Mayo takes students on the ins and outs of the music industry.  He will explore the creative process, the business side of music, and how to elevate to "star status.

For the Love of Art

Students who express themselves through Art will learn how to elevate their creativity through the expression of art by creating and designing wearable art.

Shot Caller

Students interested in fitness will be given the opportunity through organized sports.  The learners will develop skill sets in a variety of sports to make each the greatest athlete of all time.

Shine Bright Like a Diamond

Students will learn how to set goals, try new experiences, and explore better choices and options for their future.  The sky is the limit.

Tik or Tok

Students who enjoy social media but want to explore more opportunities, focusing on how to extend their knowledge and use of Facebook, Twitter (now X), TikTok, and many more.

Written Word

Students who enjoy seeing how a story unfolds through the pages of a good book will enjoy this club.  An RSA Book Club and Poetry initiative will assist learners and selecting and reading resources, learning about authors, writing, speaking, and creating works of their own.
